PRIVATE TASTINGS

We offer private tastings most days during the season [April to October]. These require a reservation.
Each visit lasts about 45 minutes and we offer them at 10 am noon 2 pm and 4 pm.
No more than 8 people in a group unless they all book together.
The cost is $50 a person and there is a minimum of two people.

GROUPON CLIENTS

Your coupon is good for 12 months! We have fulfilled over two-thirds of the bookings already.
We only book every other hour since often the visits last longer than the allotted time.
We were officially open this year until Canadian Thanksgiving (October 11th) and will reopen in early April, depending on the weather.

Groupon does not give us your email address.

2011 EVENTS AND FESTIVALS

September is a wonderful time to visit the vineyard as we move closer to harvest and the vines are in full foliage....

2011 History

The Wine Festival for 2011 is September 14th to 188th--with more live music on our patio Saturday and Sunday.

DInner Dance on Saturday evening (September 17th). Tapas based on local foodstuffs will be available all weekend.

TAPAS -- Both Days of the Festival Featuring speicalties of Puglia and Catalonia.
1. Little Meat Balls from Bari (Glenora version).
2. Cheese Plate: 3 selections from the Island's Best Cheese Makers.
3. Cold Wild Sockeye & the GBV Salad.
4. Wild Chanterelles with Hazlenuts.
5. Excalivada
6. Botifarra and white beans (botifarra amb seques)

BUFFET DINNER ON THE 17th
A buffet dinner will start at 5 pm for which reservations are strongly recommended (see above). $30 for the buffet. Wine by the glass, carafe or bottle. 60 guests maximium.

MENU: (A Sequential Buffet). Each course will be served up as shown below. Meat or fish will be on separate platters for the convenience of vegetarian guests.

A Hazlenut Breeze. Local greens. Little Qualicum Bries. Chopped Hazlenuts. About 5:15 pm.
Broiled vegetables & Charcuterie. About 5:30 pm
Risotto ai funghi, bufalo e mozzarella. Or Risotto ai funghi e mozzarella. About 5.45 pm.
Chanterelles & Grilled sockeye with spot prawns. About 6 pm.
Blackberry & plum cobbler with Udder Guy ice cream. About 6:30
Coffee and tea from 6:30 to 8:30.
