We plan many special events throughout the spring and summer and Dave is well-known for throwing great parties!
We are still working on the details of our 2008 season - check back in April for information on our season opening party and other events.

Join us for our annual festival celebrating local wine and food! Complementary wine tasting, buffet lunches and dinner, and live jazz all weekend long. And there will be wine seminars and a farmers' market on Sunday.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday - September 1st to 3rd, 2007.
Free admission with complementary wine tastings and live music, 10 am 5 pm.
With a ticketed Fundraiser Dinner Party on Saturday Night and a Farmer’s Market on Sunday
Don’t miss our annual Labour Day Weekend Party: Pair delicious wines with a buffet feast prepared from the bounty of Island Farmers and accompany it all with great live music by Cowichan Valley musicians! We will also have a ticketed dinner party on Saturday night and a farmer’s market on Sunday.

Voices of African Mothers
Saturday, 6pm - An evening of Wine, African Food and Music
The evening begins with complimentary tastings of GBV’s fine wines. Then choose a glass of your favourite to accompany your meal. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner featuring the Ghanaian classic ground-nut & chicken stew. We’ll also have vegetarian couscous, and a freshly-picked basil and tomato salad. For dessert, dig into blackberry cheesecake. The evening’s sound-track will be by the remarkable DJ Marshall, digitally spinning from his awe-inspiring collection of the greatest African music ever recorded! We’re talking about Ghanian Highlife and Soukous, Nigerian Juju and Cameroon's Makossa.
All this for only $35 per person!
