2010
The demand for our wines has always outpaced production.
Harvest will be later than usual this year, but we're ready to plan the second year of
our Vendage Lunches. Work in the vineyard at harvest and get a spectacular Lunch, with wine.
Get here between 8 and 9 for coffee and explanations and assignements.
Work until noon. Have a great lunch. Work until 4 or until we're done for the day, whichever comes first.
Bring your secateurs and your appetite.
Coffee will be served and instructions provided from 8 to 9 am.
At noon, volunteer pickers will sit down with the vineyard crew to barrel-fresh wine -- well-aged
but unfiltered -- and a hearty meal, perhaps our Bison Bourguignon, (greatly) adapted from an authentic recipe brought to us by our French interns.
For 2010, the probable first date will be Saturday, October 9th, assuming good ripening weather through September.
